Agency Relationship
Lifetime Getaways operates as a sales agent for airlines, hotels, car rental companies, tour operators, cruise lines, and other travel suppliers ("Suppliers"). Lifetime Getaways and all affiliated agents are not responsible for the Suppliers' acts or omissions. The Suppliers are independent contractors and are not agents, employees, or servants of Lifetime Getaways.
Limitation of Liability
Lifetime Getaways disclaims responsibility for:
- Cancellations due to improper or missing passports or visas
- Health-related cancellations including physical or mental health conditions affecting travel
- Force majeure events including weather, mechanical failures, government actions, terrorism, or disease outbreaks
- Any failures, breaches, or acts by airlines, hotels, or other third-party vendors
- Lost, damaged, or delayed baggage claims
- Excessive baggage fees, departure taxes, or visa fees
- Penalties or change fees imposed by independent suppliers
- Refund processing, which remains the direct responsibility of original service providers
Travel Insurance
Lifetime Getaways strongly recommends the purchase of comprehensive travel insurance to protect against unforeseen cancellations, medical emergencies, trip interruptions, and other covered events. Your travel advisor can recommend appropriate coverage options for your journey.
Traveler Responsibilities
Clients are responsible for verifying their own passport requirements, visa needs, vaccination requirements, and destination safety conditions. Travelers assume full responsibility for compliance with all documentation and entry requirements for their chosen destinations.
